Port St Mary Iifeboat called out

by isleofman.com 10th May 2006
Port St Mary Lifeboat was launched last night.

The call-out came at around 9.15 last night when a distress call was received from a fishing boat which was some 15 miles south of Port St Mary.

It is understood a fisherman had lost part of his thumb in an accident, and needed to be taken ashore rapidly for treatment in Nobles hospital.
