Building Blocks Appeal

A new appeal has been launched to raise almost half a million pounds to help children and familes in the Isle of Man.

The "Building Blocks Appeal" aims to develop new premises at the Isle of Man Children's Centre in Douglas, to house the growing number of facilities there.

Already £200,000s has been pledged - and now the Manx public is being encouraged to dig deep - both with donations and exciting ideas for raising the money.

Chief Executive John Knight says the organisation is winning a reputation for its innovative approach to fund raising:
