Jones jailed for GBH

A 39 year old man has been jailed by the High Bailiff for 60 days.

John Jones of Renwick Street, Liverpool admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm on a security officer, Krystian Borucki, at Colours Nightclub on May 6th.

Jones punched him once in the face causing a serious lip injury.

Jones had tried to stop security staff trying to remove a drunken man

His advocate said the defendant was deeply ashamed. He had no recollection of his actions but accepted witness statements. He punched the man with his right hand, on which he was wearing a heavy gold ring.

Mr Moyle ordered that he pay ?500 compensation to Mr Borucki and he made subject of an exclusion order for five years.
