Police in the south of the Island are investigating a hit and run involving a silver sports car.

At around quarter past ten last night, the vehicle hit a red Mercedes parked in James Road in Castletown.

It's thought the silver car is possibly a convertible Porsche.

It will have sustained nearside front damage from the collision.
