The Local Government Minister has upheld a decision to block plans to build six houses on the former site of the Level Garage in Colby.
The application consisted of six semi-detached houses with two car parking spaces each, landscaping and access.
The plans were described as 'out of keeping' for the area.

In his report, the Planning Inspector said the development would appear cramped and out of place in the area, because of the difficult shape of the site and the restrictions due to the necessary road improvements.
Also, the rear garden areas were described as minimal with low fences; this, according this the Inspector, would provide insufficient privacy and present a poor appearance from the road.
In addition the parking spaces were deemed too close to the houses, and would be 'unneighbourly'.
