David Knight showed why he's the worlds best Enduro 3 rider over the weekend.
He yet again claimed a double class win at the Spanish Grand Prix and finished the fastest rider overall on each day.
The opening day of the GP proved to be extremely demanding; it was wet and overcast in contrast to the dry, dusty conditions of last week in Portugal. Many found the special tests tough, especially the enduro test, which took David close to 11 minutes to complete.
Day Two was very hot, and combined with the hard course, it resulted in a large number of riders failing to finish.
David again topped all of the day’s timed special tests to finish a massive two and a half minutes ahead of team-mate Marko Tarkkala, despite his bike losing all its coolant when a radiator hose got damaged.
The Manx Sportsman of the Year has extended his lead at the top of the E3 World Championship standings to 18 points.
