Laxey and St George's book final place

by isleofman.com 15th May 2006
Laxey have kept their Grand Slam hopes alive by booking a place in the Hospital Cup final.

The Miners beat Ramsey 1-0 last night thanks to a single goal from Chris Brown.

They will face rivals St Georges in the final, who lost out to Douglas Royal last year.

Geordies beat Peel 2-1 at Glencrutchery Road. The sides were drawing at 1-1, before Island international Callum Morrissey scored a last minute winner.

The final will be played next Sunday at The Bowl. Kick off is 2 o'clock.
