Tynwald questions today

Tynwald will consider 24 questions at the start of its sitting this morning.

They begin with David Cannan asking the Chief Minister whether he intends to seek re-election to the post after November's general election.

Peel member Hazel Hannan wants to know if peak-time traffic lights would ease congestion at Quarterbridge - and whether reduced airport charges have had an impact on air fares.

Other questions concern the new Isle of Man office in London City, the Port Erin dental practice and the Island Taxi Survey.

Among items on the Order Paper - approval of ?2.6 million for an extension at Peel Clothworkers School and the latest report on re-branding the Isle of Man.
