Tynwald Day preparations

by isleofman.com 16th May 2006
Organisers of this year's Tynwald celebrations are making sure this year’s national day is an event to remember.

The organising committee has announced a line-up which includes a fireworks display, open air concerts, exhibitions and dancing throughout the day, as well as the return of the successful Battle of the Bands concert.

The BBC-Bus team will also be on hand to help locals and visitors trace their family trees.

There will be a visiting Scandinavian folk group and music from the Ellan Vannin Pipes and Drums band.
