Colby and Union Mills to meet in Gold Cup Final

by isleofman.com 17th May 2006
Colby and Union Mills have made it through to next Wednesday evening's Paul Henry Gold Cup Final.

In Tuesday night's semi-finals, Colby beat the Police 3-2 at Glen Road, but had to thank keeper Christian Steriopoulos for several fine saves in the last 20 minutes which kept them ahead.

Division Two Champions Union Mills defeated 10 man Braddan 5-1 - David Kinrade seeing red for the visitors.

The sides met in this season's Woods Cup Final when a goal in extra-time from Matty Wilshaw gave Colby the trophy.
