Isle of Man Sports Council Chairman Geoff Karran says Albert Gubay's donation of one million pounds for Manx sport and education will be spent wisely.
Mr. Gubay wants the funding to be used to help elite Manx sportsmen and woman to challenge on the world stage.
Geoff Karran says today's top international stars are supported by a team of experts, in areas such as diet and mental preperation.
