Bill Platt announces Keys bid

The latest challenger to come forward in Douglas East for this November's general election says a 'will to help the Island’s young people' has prompted him to come forward.

Youth worker Bill Platt was in Tynwald yesterday.

And the 43 year-old, who lives in Poplar Road with his wife and two daughters, says it’s clear why he’s thrown his hat into the political ring:
