Two minute silence to commemorate London bombings

by isleofman.com 17th May 2006
It is likely the Isle of Man WOULD take part in any commemoration of those who died in the July seventh London bombings.

It has been proposed in the UK that a two minute silence be held at noon on the first anniversary of the killings.

Further details on the commemoration are expected to be revealed later this week.

So far the Isle of Man Government has received no formal notification from Westminster of the tribute, but once it is formally ratified it would be usual practice for the Island to follow suit.
