Possible mail threat from animal rights activists

by isleofman.com 18th May 2006
The Manx public is being warned about the threat of unsolicited - and unwelcome - mail from radical animal rights groups.

Officers say whilst it's unlikely that Island residents or companies would be targeted, it can't be ruled out, so they are taking the opportunity to remind people what to do if they receive any such mail.

It should be handled as little as practicable and preserve the envelope and entire contents of the correspondence and the envelope.

Police headquarters should then be contacted on 697327 to arrange for the correspondence to be collected.
