Stevens sentence adjourned

by isleofman.com 18th May 2006
Sentence on a man who admitted stealing almost ?2500 from Westwind Financial Services has been adjourned by the High Bailiff for reports.

37 year old Andrew David Stevens, formerly of Bride but now living in Kent, was employed by Mannin Media and delivered goods to Westwind. He was given a cheque for ?2,448 but asked that the payee part of the cheque be left blank because he was not sure who it was to be made out to.

The cheque was subsequently banked at an Abbey National account in London.

Stevens has been bailed until June 20th.
