Fed up with high energy prices? West Douglas MHK Dominic Delaney thinks he might have an answer.

On Tuesday in the House of Keys, he’ll ask Local Government and Environment Minister John Rimington whether grants are available for those who want to install solar roof tiles.

He also wants to know if there’s a government policy on new technologies which could promote energy production through renewable means.

Mr Delaney says he’s seen efficient systems which would work despite the Island’s unpredictable weather – and says the advantages are obvious.
