Police expenses claim in House of Keys spotlight

by isleofman.com 20th May 2006
Home Affairs Minister John Shimmin will face hard questioning in the House of Keys on Tuesday over expenses claimed by Cheshire Police.

North Douglas MHK John Houghton will ask him why he’s failed to reply to a written question he put to the minister in early April.

Mr Houghton asked for details of how much Cheshire officers claimed for food, drink and other subsistence costs while they carried out an investigation into the Manx force.

But he says the question was never answered.
