Toshiba TV warning

by isleofman.com 22nd May 2006
The Office of Fair Trading is warning people to check their televisions for a potentially dangerous fault.

Toshiba have recalled TV sets after discovering a fault in the plug which could spark a fire.

The models affected are 14VL44B, 20VL44B, 27WL46B and 30WL46B fitted with Better Wire plugs.

Up to forty of the televisions have been sold in the Island, and OFT chief officer Ken Kinrade (pictured) is warning people not to use them:

Anybody who finds they’ve bought one of the affected sets can contact Toshiba on 0800 334353.
