Strix questions in Keys

The case of Strix sparked a lengthy session of supplementary questions in the Keys today.

North Douglas MHK John Houghton wanted to know how much the company received in grants and subsidies for each of the last 5 financial years, and what the workforce has been in the same period.

Whilst somewhat guarded in his response, Middle member Martin Quayle, answering on behalf of Minister Alex Downie, said there are strict guidelines regarding any government financial assistance, and he believed the company remained a beneficial presence on the Island:
