A 20 year old woman has been given a 14 week prison sentence suspended for two years by the High Bailiff.

Rebecca Leanne Goodall after she admitted assaulting two police officers and being drunk and disorderly. The incident occurred in Port Erin on the evening of April 13th.

Goodall who was drunk spat at one police officer and kicked another.

Her advocate Paul O'Neill said Goodall needed support for an alcohol problem.

However Mr Moyle said her behaviour left a lot to be desired. He banned her from entering on-licence premises and from purchasing or being supplied alcohol for 18 months.

He also imposed a two year supervision order to run alongside the prison sentence.
