Alternative medicine available locally on NHS

The Joint Secretary of the Manx National Healing Centre has rejected criticisms of alternative medicine.

Jenny Crosston was speaking after a recent row in the UK over National Health Service support for untested treatments such as homoeopathy and acupuncture.

In the Island, complementary therapies are available on the NHS IF they are deemed to be medically beneficial.

Jenny (pictured) says complementary medicines exist to help people help themselves, and should exist in harmony with the more widely accepted medical practices:
