Adoption Service - challenging and rewarding

The new manager of the Isle of Man Adoption Service says the Island has a different approach to adoption compared to the UK.

Catriona Morris took over the position from Joyce Quine in mid January, after working at an adoption agency in Durham.

The organisation, previously known as the Manx Churches Adoption and Welfare Society, was officially recognised as an approved society in the Island in November 2004.

She says the job has been very rewarding - but quite a challenge:
