Isle of Woman plans

The Department of Tourism has revealed plans to make the Isle of Man, the Isle of Woman for a weekend in October.

It will take place between the 27th and the 29th, and will feature events geared towards both visitors and residents.

These include a Chocoholics evening, health and beauty afternoons, a women's rugby tournament and a pink charity walk in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Department member Pamela Crowe MLC says changing the Island's name for the pink Yorkie campaign was extremely beneficial and marketing for this has already begun:
