Church celebrates 150th

Parishioners of Lonan and Laxey have a big celebration to look forward to this weekend.

It's the 150th anniversary of the consecration of Christ's Church in Laxey.

Events to mark the occasion include songs of praise on Saturday afternoon, and the Bishop attending the Sunday morning service.

The Church's Vicar, the Reverend Bill Martin, explained the history of the building:
