An appeal has been launched to find TT memorabilia ahead of a major exhibition to mark the race’s centenary next summer.
From the spectators and riders, to mechanics and marshals, Manx National Heritage plans to celebrate the history of this event and of the people who make the TT what it is.
Curators are hoping to borrow pre-World War Two items to add to an already broad collection which includes motorcycles, helmets and marshals’ tabards.
There’s particular interest in finding distinctive 1920s marshals gear of a white peaked cap and coat, as well as rider’s leathers and helmets from the era.
Anyone who can help is asked to contact Matthew Richardson at the Museum on 648000.
