The Southern 100 Motorcycle Racing Club has confirmed that a Sidecar driver and passenger lost their lives after an incident in Friday evening's practice for the Pre-T.T. Classic at Billown.
The pair crashed their outfit at the Iron Gate between Ballakaighan and Ballabeg.
The seesion was immediately red flagged and then called off.
The names of the driver and passenger will be released as soon as all next of kin have been informed.
