MGP entries could receive boost

by isleofman.com 27th May 2006
Entries for the Manx Grand Prix are in need of a boost, and moves to help them along could be confirmed shortly.

According to 'realroadracing.com', the ACU may consider relaxing requirements for obtaining a TT Mountain Circuit Licence.

It reports that riders who haven't held a national licence for 12 months prior to the closing date of May 19, may be accepted if they have completed the required number of meetings before May 31.

It goes on to say the ACU has agreed the closing date could be extended to June 16 for all classes, in a bid to give riders time to qualify and hopefully push up the total entry numbers.
