TT star concerned over course landmark

by isleofman.com 27th May 2006
One of the Mountain Course's landmarks has fallen out of favour with one of the stars of the TT.

John McGuiness says Windy Corner was extremely dangerous during last night's (Saturday) practice session.

The area underwent a fairly major face-lift earlier this year.

There’s a new camber on the road and the corner is slightly wider.

The change has prompted suggestions of a 130 mile-per-hour lap this year, but McGuinness wasn't impressed.
