Investigation continuing after Billown tragedy

An investigation is continuing into the death of two competitors in Friday evening's practice session on the Billown Circuit.

Sidecar driver and pasenger, 44 year-old Tony Smith from Kent and 55 year-old Barry Pepperrell crashed at Iron Gate, a third of the way round the course.

The Southern 100 Club has extended its sincere condolences to the rider's family and friends.

The seesion was immediately red flagged and then called off.
