Road repairs at May Hill

by isleofman.com 28th May 2006
A section of the T.T. Course was closed for several hours on Sunday morning to allow Department of Transport workers to clean the surface.

A twenty metre strip of May Hill was damaged following the serious Sidecar crash during Saturday evening's practice session.

A full tank of fuel was deposited on the road and had penetrated the surface.

Workers used water and fairy liquid to wash away the fuel.

The road reopened shortly after midday.
