The quickest response time of anywhere in the world.

That is what is available to anyone unfortunate enough to have an accident in
TT practice or racing, along with tens of thousands of pounds worth of life saving equipment.

The TT Chief Medical Officer, Dr David Stevens, says what happens in the first few minutes can spell the difference between life and death. He says, on the Island, the clock starts as soon as the emergency call is sounded: (first audio clip)

The value of the life-saving equipment available for casualties is staggering and means the best possible care is available very very quickly. But its expensive, says Dr Stevens: (second audio clip)

Marshalls have to be able to use the equipment and a training course held this morning (Weds) in Douglas briefed would-be officials on their duties and responsibilities: (third audio clip)
