Whipp sentencing adjourned

Sentence on an 18 year old man has been adjourned by the High Bailiff for reports.

Aaron Alan Whipp of Hazel Crescent, Pulrose, admitted that he assaulted James Maxwell McKee.

Sergeant John Manley prosecuting said the defendant punched Mr McKee around midnight on May 19th in Fort Lane, Douglas. Mr McKee fell to the ground and was kicked by Whipp, who left him on the ground unconscious and walked off with his friends.

McKee sustained serious injuries including a fractured nose which required four stitches.

Whipp was bailed until June 27th with a curfew of 9pm to 9am, and a condition not to enter on licensed premises
