For the first time a Manxman is heading up the Isle of Man's Ship Registry.
Dick Welsh has been appointed Director of the Marine Administration, having held the position of Deputy Director for the last year.
Mr Welsh was born and educated on the Island and has spent time working in Denmark and China as a surveyor for Lloyd's Register.
He is pleased to now have the opportunity to take the Island's Ship registry forward:
