Gregory gets suspended sentence

A Castletown man who made use of provoking behaviour has been given a four month prison sentence suspended for two years by the High Bailiff.

Kieran Robert Gregory appeared for sentence for the offence committed outside Castletown youth club on March 4th.

The defendant made threats to the youth club officer who refused him permission to enter because he was drunk. Gregory had a bottle in his possession, but following his arrest he told police he would not have used the bottle, although he did admit he had made threats

Gregory was also given a six month supervision order for two years and fined ?500
