Compensation has at last been agreed with all twenty landowners affected by the laying of the Douglas raw water main.
The scheme to bring water along a 7.6 kilometre pipeline from West Baldwin to the new Treatment Works in Douglas had been held up, as some landowners refused to accept the compensation terms.
But all have now agreed - at a total cost to the Water Authority of more than ?88,000.
