A fast afternoon?

Expectations are high for more record speeds during this afternoon's practice session (Thurs).

Roads around the course will close at 1.45 with the first bikes expected away from the Grandstand at 2pm, and the sidecars scheduled for 3.20pm.

During last night's session Honda's John McGuinness unofficially broke his own outright lap record with a speed of 127.8 mph and Dave Molyneux and Craig Hallam also beat their own lap record in the sidecars by two seconds.

Honda Racing Team Boss Neil Tuxworth says whilst he's delighted with John's times, the important thing is winning races:
