by isleofman.com 1st June 2006
A wealth management group from Barclays Private Clients International will soon be exchanging their business suits for all-weather gear as they tackle the Three Peaks Challenge.

They'll be bidding to raise ?10,000 for the bank’s charity of the year, Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation.

Nineteen Barclays workers are entering the mountain endurance challenge on July 1, which requires participants to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, (Ben Nevis, 1344m), north Wales, (Snowdon, 1085m) and England, (Scafell Pike in the Lake District, 978m) within 24 hours.

The 4WD and Van Centre, Braddan, is sponsoring the team vehicles that will transport the entrants between locations.

The Steam Packet is supporting the challenge by providing discounted fares for the return sea crossing and Club Carrefour has been helping the team achieve peak fitness for the challenge.
