Witnesses sought in post office incident

A young white male is being hunted by police in connection with an attempted Post Office robbery this morning.

At around quarter past nine he entered the premises on Crosby Terrace in Douglas.

He threatened staff, but led empty handed heading left down Broadway.

No one was hurt in the incident.

The man was wearing a dark jacket or hooded top with a light coloured stripe across the chest and back.

He may also have been wearing a balaclava, a ski mask and gloves.

Detective Sergeant Iain MacMillan says police are looking for witnesses:
