Vital need for Overseas Aid

The Chairman of the Overseas Aid Committee says combating disease and providing shelter are vital areas in the early stages of a relief operation.

Earlier this week, the OAC donated ?30,000 to help Indonesia's earthquake victims.

George Waft MLC (pictured) says the money has been given to the British Red Cross and is earmarked for different aspects of the relief effort:
