This evening's TT practice session was slightly delayed because cars were blocking emergency access to the Creg-ny-Baa back road.
The first bikes got away five minutes late, in perfect conditions.
All the top names are out, despite the fact many had already done enough to qualify.
Local newcommer, Connor Cummins, was relieved to get out again after sorting out some problems with his machine (audio file attached):
Before the start, Paul Hunt said he had to make sure he qualified on the 600 this evening.

Unfortunately "Big H" took the Superbike out first, and was forced to stop on his first lap in Crosby.
The leader on the road was Ian Lougher, who lapped at 125.229 miles an hour.
There was also a good lap for Martin Finnegan, who went round at 123.03.
Bruce Anstey's had some difficult session earlier in the week, but he was quite happy with his first lap this evening (audio file attached):
