Willaston water works

by isleofman.com 3rd June 2006
Work on laying the new raw water main through Willaston will start on Friday, June 16th.

It is hoped work will begin across Johnny Watterson’s Lane over that weekend to minimise disruption.

It will then continue through the estate via Fenella Avenue, Keppel Road, Snaefell Road and into School Road with a series of rolling road closures.

The new pipeline will supply raw water to the ?26m treatment works which will serve homes and businesses in Douglas, Onchan, Middle and the whole of the south of the Island.

Work behind Willaston School and the Isle of Man College is scheduled for the school summer holidays.
