Compost not burn, says Zero Waste Mann

Much of the green waste being delivered to the incinerator for burning should instead be composted.

That’s according to the deputy chairman of an organisation promoting waste reduction in the Island.

Zero Waste Mann held its annual general meeting last week.

And Andrew Jesopp says more effort's needed by both central and local government to divert green waste away from the incinerator.
