TT - Repairs to Joey Dunlop Memorial complete

Fans of TT legend Joey Dunlop were dismayed to find his statue, which looks down from the Bungalow, had suffered at the hands of the elements.

The bronze figure shows the 26 times TT winner astride his machine, but much of the detail has been damaged.

Bad weather was hampering restoration efforts, but Tourism Minister David Cretney says repairs have now been done:
