Mad Sunday church service

by isleofman.com 3rd June 2006
The annual open air church service at the TT grandstand takes place this morning (Sunday).

The Vicar of St. Ninian's, the Reverend Brian Derbyshire, will conduct the proceedings from his traditional position, at the top of the winners' rostrum.

The Christian Motorcycle Association will be among those taking part, and music will be provided by the band of the Salvation Army.

The event is primarily for bikers, but everybody is welcome to go along.

It starts at 9.30am and, if that's too early, there is a special Mad Sunday service at Sulby Methodist Church at 11am.
