Three motorcyclists were seriously injured in an incident on the Peel to Kirk Michael Coast Road yesterday (Mad Sunday).
The collision, which happened at around 3.50pm, involved a Nissan Pick-up van driven by a local man from Peel and two motorcycles being ridden by visitors to the Island.
Both bikes were travelling from the Peel direction, and the second motorcycle was carrying a pillion passenger. All three bikers were taken to Nobles Hospital for treatment. The van driver was uninjured.
Police say they are keen to trace two motorcyclists who may have witnessed the collision and initially stopped to assist but left the scene prior to police arriving.
Officers say it would be appreciated if the bikers concerned could contact the Road's policing unit at Police Headquarters.
