The hairy biker has been told by a mate, who saw him crash on Sunday "you are lucky to be alive".
Dave Myers had surgery on his wrist after the accident on the Peel to KIrk Michael coast road. Two bikes and a van were involved.
Dave hopes to be out of hospital later today.
