Bins set ablaze

by isleofman.com 6th June 2006
The recycling bins at the entrance to Noble's Park are being removed after vandals set fire to them in the early hours of Monday morning.

The bins were temporarily inside the park because of the TT.

The blaze was extinguished and the site has since been cleared of debris. Police are carrying out house to house inquiries.

Waste Minimisation and Recycling Officer, Joanne Hetherington, says replacing them would cost over ?1,000.
