Rosemary Penn continues as police complaints commissioner.

Rosemary Penn has been re-appointed as the Island's police complaints commissioner.

Mrs Penn (pictured) who comes from a Manx legal family, enjoyed a distinguished career in law practice, has been a magistrate and member of the financial supervision commission since 1993.

She was first appointed as police complaints commissioner in 2003.

Home Affairs Minister John Shimmin says the role is clearly and correctly separated from his department:
