New Chief Executive at DAFF

The new Chief Executive of the Department of Agriculture says he is looking forward to helping implement some of the changes which are necessary to move the industry forward.

Colin Kniveton, whose appointment was confirmed yesterday, says he is familiar with farming issues, through family connections and his time at the Treasury.

He says farmers face many changes, and he hopes to get out and meet as many people as possible in his new role:
