A local team boss is appealing to the better nature of some souvenir hunters.

Every year Martin Bullock's mum raises money for the Helicopter Fund at her house at Sign Post Corner.

But someone has taken the banner welcoming people to the spot.

It won't be difficult to spot - it's big black banner saying "Welcome to Sign Post."

It was very securely tied up - so whoever took it sometime overnight, will have spent a great deal of time doing it.

Martin says if it's returned he's more then happy to give them some other race souvenirs instead.
